PASADENA, MD — A Pasadena woman was awakened by an armed intruder who fired gunshots in the house before fleeing, Anne Arundel County Police say. The breakin was reported about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at a home in the 1600 block of Colony Road in Pasadena.

Authorities say residents reported they were awakened by two unknown men who entered their house. A woman woke up to find a man, armed with a handgun, standing over her. The intruder asked to speak to someone whose name the victim did not recognize.

That startled the intruder, who fired gunshots into an interior wall of the house and the pair of suspects fled from the residence. Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspects.
