Residents Should Check Water Quality Before Hitting The Beach
The Anne Arundel County Department of Health encourages residents to check water quality before hitting the beach.
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — The Anne Arundel County Department of Health reminds residents to check for water quality results before hitting the beach and enjoying the abundant bodies of water across the county. The county health department samples the water at more than 80 county beaches and shares the results on its website and water quality phone line from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Or, residents can consult the department's mobile-friendly beach swimming guide at www.aahealth.org/beach for water quality results. The information-only line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at 410-222-7999.
