Robber Assaults Driver, Steals Car At Pasadena Home Depot: Police
A robber pulled a man out of his car, assaulted him and fled the Home Depot in the victim's car, police said.

PASADENA, MD — A Baltimore man was charged with carjacking, assault and other related charges for an incident at the Pasadena Home Depot Wednesday, police said.
At about 1:45 p.m., officers responded to a carjacking report at the Home Depot at 66 Mountain Rd. Loss prevention agents from the store reported the suspect stole property and attempted to leave the area in his vehicle. As the suspect tried to flee, he struck an object in the parking lot, rendering his vehicle inoperable, police said.
The suspect then pulled a man out of his vehicle, assaulted him and fled the area in the victim's vehicle, police said. The suspect left his wallet inside the vehicle he abandoned and was identified as Douglas Hadaway, 50, of Baltimore, police said.

Officers responded to the area of Hadaway's last known address and located him driving the stolen vehicle just over the county line on Patapsco Avenue in Baltimore. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop and Hadaway got out of the vehicle and fled on foot, police said.
After a foot pursuit, Hadaway was taken into custody. He was charged with robbery, carjacking, theft, assault and other charges, police said.
