Stolen School Bus Found Abandoned in Edgewater

Anne Arundel County Police are searching for two suspects who drove the bus through a gate on a joy ride.

It might not seem the obvious pick for a joy ride, but two thieves swiped a school bus Tuesday morning, then left it abandoned in the Edgewater area.

Anne Arundel County Police sent out Twitter alerts early in the morning asking residents to be on the lookout for Anne Arundel County Public Schools Bus No. 874 with license plate LG96488.

The bus was stolen from 1229 Generals Highway in Crownsville. There were no students on the bus, police say.
