Teens Stabbed at Hanover Safeway Store
Two teenage boys were stabbed during a fight outside the Safeway store in Hanover, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

HANOVER, MD — A fight outside the entrance to the Hanover Safeway store ended with a suspect reportedly two teenage boys, authorities say. The brawl was reported just after 7 p.m. Tuesday and happened as shoppers came and went from the grocery store at 7643 Arundel Mills Boulevard.
Anne Arundel County Police say a confrontation between two groups of people near the store became physical. During the fight, two teenage boys were stabbed.
Both victims were taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment, with what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds, police say.

No suspect description is available at this time. The suspects fled in a tan or gold Nissan.
Shopper Sharon Garland told WBAL she saw the fight. "(There was) yelling, hollering, stabbing. One guy took off and then sirens came from everywhere. Cops came from every different direction. It was like crazy," Garland said.

A police spokesman told the station there is no threat to public safety.
