TIM WALTERS APPOINTED TO REPUBLICAN CENTRAL COMMITTEE
Vacancy to Be Filled in District 32

Annapolis, MD – January 9, 2014 – Mr. Tim Walters of Linthicum, Maryland has been chosen to fill the District 32 vacancy on the Republican State Central Committee of Anne Arundel County. “It is a privilege to have been selected to serve the citizens of District 32. I will be committed to strengthening and growing the Republican Party in the District and throughout the County,” said Walters.
Walters, a long time resident of Linthicum was a 2014 Republican candidate for the House of Delegates in District 32. Walters is a retired U.S. Navy veteran, having served with seven different commands, including Mobile Mine Assembly Group Detachment One, Mobile Mine Assembly Group Detachment Six, Naval Security Group Activity Ft Meade, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Six; Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Two; Naval Recruiting District Philadelphia; Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Fleet Liaison.
After retiring, he moved into the private sector as a Defense Contractor and was a founding member of the Army’s Asymmetric Warfare Group located at Ft Meade, MD. Walters has been a Project, Deputy Program Manager and Program Manager on various Army contracts supporting Lethality; Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Yield Explosive; and Intelligence programs. He continues to work full time while pursuing his Master’s degree in Project Management at University of Maryland University College.
