Woman Arrested During Traffic Stop For Possessing Crack Cocaine
A Baltimore woman was arrested during a traffic stop in Brooklyn Park for possessing heroin, crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

BROOKLYN PARK, MD – Officers with the Anne Arundel County Police Department stopped a black Cadillac along Brookwood Road and Christian Road at 10:20 p.m. May 29 for a traffic violation. While walking up to the vehicle, officers discovered the passenger was holding assorted drug paraphernalia in plain sight.
The passenger, Casey Lee Smith, 29, of Baltimore, was in possession of 50 green zip-lock baggies of crack cocaine totaling 11.80 grams and seven capsules of heroin totaling three grams. Mark Limansky, spokesperson for the Anne Arundel County Police Department, told Patch that the 11 grams of crack is worth approximately $1,100 and the seven capsules of heroin is worth an estimated $70. Smith was charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute, three counts of possession not marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and distribution of a fentanyl/heroin mix.
