Tractor-Trailer Blaze Closed I-95 Wednesday: Officials
An afternoon crash and vehicle fire on Interstate 95 in the area of I-195 brought traffic to a standstill.
A crash and vehicle fire shut down Interstate 95 north in the area of I-195 Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 1 p.m. two vehicles collided on I-95 north past the exit for I-195, transportation officials said.
Emergency personnel responding to the crash found a tractor-trailer fire, multiple people injured and a fuel spill, according to the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department.

Crews from BWI, Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Maryland Department of the Environment assisted with paramedics, firefighters and hazmat personnel, the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department reported.

All lanes of I-95 north were temporarily blocked for cleanup, the Baltimore Office of Emergency Management reported.
The left shoulder opened just before 2 p.m., officials reported.
After 4 p.m., the left three lanes were open on I-95 north, and the far right lane and right shoulder were still closed, according to transportation officials.
