• Five Auto Thefts Among Incidents Reported Across Montgomery County in September 1 Crime Summary (mocoshow.com) — Residents in Aspen Hill and nearby Wheaton and Glenmont are being alerted to a recent robbery on Veirs Mill Road and a same-day residential burglary in the 4th District. Countywide, police also reported multiple auto thefts, a commercial burglary, and several serious incidents in other districts, including a fired round entering a neighboring home.
