3 Baltimore Basketball Teams Win State Titles
Baltimore represented in the MPSSAA championships on Saturday in College Park.

BALTIMORE, MD — Three high schools in Baltimore won state basketball titles on Saturday. Baltimore boys basketball teams competed in three championship games and won all three.
The winners were Paul Laurence Dunbar High School claiming the class 1A title, Lake Clifton winning the 2A crown and Baltimore Polytechnic Institute defending the class 3A title.
The state championship games took place at the Xfinity Center on the University of Maryland College Park campus on Saturday, March 10.

Here are the results, according to the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSAA):
- Class 1A: Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Fairmont Heights, 59-48 (16th title)
- Class 2A: Lake Clifton defeated North Caroline, 63-55 (5th title)
- Class 3A: Baltimore Polytechnic Institute defeated Milford Mill Academy, 49-47 (2nd title)
- Class 4A: Perry Hall defeated Bladensburg, 56-52 (2nd title)
