Baltimore 4th Of July Fireworks 2020 Canceled
The usual Fourth of July events in Baltimore are canceled, but there are several other ways to celebrate the holiday.
BALTIMORE, MD — July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July festivities, including Baltimore.
The fireworks show and festivities traditionally held in Charm City will not happen this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Events with more than 250 people are prohibited through at least Aug. 31, by order of Mayor Bernard C. "Jack" Young.

- The Plant-Powered Meat Month Kickoff Party on Zoom will allow people to celebrate their independence from meat by sharing recipes and documentaries at this event hosted by Baltimore-based BotaniCuisine. It's from 6 to 7 p.m. on July 3.
- Bike and Brunch Tour: Baltimore Harbor to the Heights takes participants on a tour of the Black Arts District by bike. It's from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 4.
- The Family Scavenger Hunt in downtown Baltimore runs about 2.5 to 3 hours and can be done any day.
- The Virtual Firecracker 10K Race is usually held in Arbutus but has gone virtual for 2020 on July 4.
