Baltimore Man Placed Skimming Devices At Gas Stations Across MD, Sheriff Says
The 20-year-old from Baltimore is accused of installing credit card skimming devices at 7-Eleven stores across Maryland.

CALVERT COUNTY, MD — A Baltimore man is facing charges after authorities said he installed illegal credit card skimming devices at numerous 7-Eleven locations across Maryland.
Becam CiuCiu, 20, was taken into custody by the Calvert County Sheriff's Office and charged with two counts of possession of a skimming device and two counts of ID fraud with intent to manufacture and distribute, authorities said Thursday.
Since October 2025, Calvert County deputies have investigated multiple incidents involving skimming devices discovered on point-of-sale pin pads at 7-Eleven stores in the county. Skimming devices are used to unlawfully capture debit and credit card information and associated PIN numbers, which allows suspects to create counterfeit cards and fraudulently obtain cash and merchandise.
