Baltimore Museum of Industry's 'Liquid Courage" Event Returns for Second Year (Tickets on Sale)

The Baltimore Museum of Industry (BMI) is thrilled to announce the return of its signature event, Liquid Courage 2026, for its highly anticipated second annual celebration on Saturday, February 28th from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Building on the success of its inaugural year, this year’s event has been significantly enhanced to offer a truly multi-sensory and immersive experience dedicated to honoring Maryland's rich cocktail and distilling history.

Liquid Courage 2026 continues to draw inspiration from the BMI’s acclaimed Neighborhood Corner Bar Exhibit, transforming the museum into a dynamic, celebratory space steeped in our state’s rich history. More than just a tasting event; it is a recognition of the hospitality industry and an effort to recreate the spirit of the local corner bar—the "third space" where people have historically connected, shared food, drink, and conversation, and fostered strong communal bonds.

Attendees at Liquid Courage can look forward to an elevated experience featuring expanded workshops and demonstrations led by top figures in the distilling and mixology community, including Brendan Dorr of Dutch Courage and Ezra Allen of Cane Collective, offering deep dives into the industry's history, craft, and innovative techniques. Guests will enjoy curated tastings and pairings, showcasing a diverse selection of Maryland-made spirits—from classic whiskeys to contemporary gins—thoughtfully paired with offerings from established and talented Baltimore caterers and eateries. The atmosphere will be energized by live music and entertainment from returning popular acts, including Tyler Moonlight & Band and DJ Mister Vershawn. Furthermore, interactive hands-on activities, alongside the educational workshops, will allow guests to directly engage with the art of cocktail making and learn about the raw materials and processes involved in distillation.
