Man On Fire Dies, Came From Portable Toilet Near M&T Bank Stadium

Firefighters responded to the 1100 block of Russell Street Sunday where a burning man came out of a Port A Potty. He died at the scene.

BALTIMORE, MD — A burning man came out of a portable toilet near M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon and died, firefighters said. It happened Sunday afternoon on the 1100 block of Russell Street, Baltimore Fire tweeted.

The man died at the scene and three portable toilets were engulfed in flames.

The body was discovered around 3 p.m. Sunday, a police spokesman told The Baltimore Sun. The person found dead has not been identified.

Photos at the scene showed charred debris across the street from the stadium, which is the home of the Baltimore Ravens.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
