Merriweather District returns with its 5th Annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Market

Merriweather District's 5th Annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Market returns, opening November 21st at Color Burst Park, located at 6221 Mango Tree Rd, Columbia, MD.

The celebration begins November 21st at 5:30 PM with the Holiday Tree Lighting, featuring live entertainment, complimentary prizes, and a festive mix of lights, music, and holiday spirit.

Guests can RSVP to be automatically entered for a chance to win two season passes to the Color Burst Ice Rink. Check-in for the event begins at Guest Services at 5:30 pm, for a signature holiday ornament and special holiday giveaways, while supplies last.

Visitors can explore the 3-day Holiday Market through Sunday, 12/7, featuring local artisans, handcrafted goods, seasonal treats, and interactive experiences for all ages.

The Holiday Market Hours are as follows:

• Friday, December 5, 2025: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM

• Saturday, December 6, 2025: 11 AM – 6 PM

• Sunday, December 7, 2025: 12 PM – 4 PM
