City of Baltimore: "Charm'tastic Mile" to Honor 60th Anniv. of Orioles '66 World Series Champions
May 28, 2026 - The "Charm'tastic Mile" of Baltimore (CTMB-1.3) www.thecharmtasticmile.com. The chic & famed 1.3 mile corridor located in the heart of Charm City (Est.1975) that connects Dwtn-West, the Inner Harbor & Harbor East (S. Greene & W. Pratt Street to S. President & Fleet Street) that is now listed on Google search as one of the Top 10-15 Most Famous Streets in America is reporting the 60th Anniversary of the O's '66 World Series Champions will be honored.
What a season 1966 was for the Baltimore Orioles. They won the '66 Fall Classic sweeping the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-0 to capture the 1st of 3 (1970, 1983) World Series Championships in team history. In his 1st season (1966) with the Orioles, Frank Robinson won the Triple Crown, was named the AL MVP and World Series MVP. Robinson had one of the greatest individual & team seasons ever recorded in Major League Baseball. The O's got Frank via trade from the Cincinnati Reds and the rest is Orioles Dynasty history.
The Birds will face the Dodgers out-west for a 3-Game set on June 19-21. The Dodgers are the 2-time defending World Series Champions (2024-25). The "Charm'tastic Mile" will be promoting the theme "Spirit of '66 Championship Birds" at Sixty.
The "Spirit of '66 Championship Birds" at Sixty campaign is part of the popular-growing "Famous Streets & Sports Culture In America" Baseball. The entrance into Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Eutaw Street is just a home run trot from The "Charm'tastic Mile" at Eutaw Street/"Charm'tastic Mile".
