Go beneath the streets of New York City for a special screening of The Underbelly Project, a documentary chronicling the ambitious underground art project co-created by MICA alumnus Logan Hicks '16. Between 2009 and 2010, more than 100 artists secretly transformed an unfinished subway station into a hidden gallery of monumental artwork, creating a body of work that remained largely inaccessible to the public. Logan will join us before the screening to share the story behind the project and offer a firsthand look at the creativity, collaboration, and risk that brought this extraordinary artistic experiment to life.
