Because of gusty winds and already saturated ground, power outages and downed trees are possible.
There is a flash flood watch in effect for Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Charles, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George's and Washington counties as well as Baltimore City. The flash flood watch is in effect until 4 a.m. Tuesday and means there is the potential for flash flooding, which can be life-threatening. Moderate to locally heavy rain will spread over the region Monday, expected to total 1 to 2 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. While the steadiest rain may move out of the area by late Monday afternoon, additional showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely in the evening.

Flooding is anticipated in these areas:
- Dragon boat dock near the Inner Harbor
