Double-Fatal Fire Breaks Out On Coldspring Lane
Two people died in a house fire Wednesday morning, Baltimore Fire officials reported.

BALTIMORE, MD — Two people died in a fire in northeast Baltimore early Wednesday morning, according to authorities. One person was in critical condition at the hospital, fire officials reported.
After 1 a.m., firefighters were called to the 700 block of East Coldspring Lane, where smoke was showing from the first and second floors of the two-story residence, authorities reported.
Crews rescued three people in cardiac arrest from the house and took them to the hospital, where a woman and 4-year-old died, and a 5-year-old was in critical condition, according to fire officials.

By 1:50 a.m., the fire was declared under control. Authorities said that this year there have been 25 people as of Wednesday who have died in fires in Baltimore City.
