Marilyn Mosby And Nick Mosby Face $45K Tax Lien

BALTIMORE, MD — The Internal Revenue Service has filed a $45,022 lien against Marilyn and Nicholas Mosby.

The lien resulted from unpaid taxes in 2014, 2015 and 2016, according to The Baltimore Sun.

Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby and Del. Nicholas Mosby also owed $5,000 that they paid in 2013, court records show.

This is not the only probe facing the powerful couple.

Marilyn Mosby is also under investigation over a travel company that she started and failed to disclose on her mandatory ethics disclosure filings, according to the Baltimore Brew.

She is halfway into a four-year term as the city's top prosecutor and is now being investigated by the state prosecutor due to potential ethics violations.

Her husband, Nicholas Mosby, is running for president of the Baltimore City Council. He will face off against Republican challenger Jovani M. Patterson in the November election.
