BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore authorities on Friday confirmed they were searching for two shooters in connection with a Tuesday night shooting at Morgan State University that wounded five people and prompted an hours-long lockdown.

Authorities did not identify any potential suspects at a Friday news conference but announced a $9,000 reward was available for information leading to an arrest.

"We urge anyone with information that could help us identify the two individuals to call Metro Crime stoppers," Commissioner Richard Worley said. "The entire Morgan community remains in our thoughts and prayers and we will capture these individuals."

The update came a day after police released a video showing four persons of interest sought in connection with the shooting, which happened shortly before 9:30 p.m. after the coronation of Mister & Miss Morgan State at the Murphy Fine Arts Center as students were heading to a campus ball for the university's homecoming celebration.

Police Commissioner Richard Worley said the five victims — four men and one woman — were between the ages of 18 and 22.

As of Friday, four of the five victims had been released from the hospital, Worley said. The fifth remains hospitalized in stable condition.

Earlier this week, Worley said the two suspects likely intended to shoot one person; however, police said they believe the targeted person was not hit.

Video released by police identifying the persons of interest showed four men walking across a grassy area, most of whom wore black shirts and dark pants. Another wore a white T-shirt and carried a black backpack.

Worley said police had received more than a dozen tips as of Friday.

At a Wednesday morning news conference, Mayor Brandon Scott said officials don't believe the shooting at the historically Black university was racially motivated.

Anyone with information about the identities of the shooters should call detectives at 410-396-2444 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
