Ravens Beat Patriots, Ending New England's Undefeated Streak

The Baltimore Ravens dominated Sunday night's prime-time game against the New England Patriots, and handed the Super Bowl champs a loss.

BALTIMORE, MD — During Sunday night's prime-time matchup, the Baltimore Ravens trounced the defending Super Bowl champions, beating the New England Patriots, 37-20. Coming off a bye week, the Ravens were in prime form as they brought the heat right out of the gate at M&T Bank Stadium.

Baltimore shut out New England, 10-0, in the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Patriots put points on the board, tightening up the score to 17-13, with the Ravens still leading at the half. By the end of the third quarter, Ravens were up 24-20. By the end of the game, the Ravens were up 37-20. The Ravens led from start to finish.

"The Ravens told us they were going to bust them in the mouth tonight and they’ve done it," Cris Collinsworth, NBC analyst, said during Sunday Night Football. "This is not the team we’re used to seeing," he said of New England.

The Patriots now have a record of 8-1, and the Ravens move up to 6-2.

Next up, the Ravens play the Cincinnati Bengals away at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, which will be broadcast on CBS.

Ravens Win On Prime-Time

Sunday's game was one of three prime-time slots the Ravens have this season.

The Ravens will also take on the Rams at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum at 8:15 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25, which will be broadcast on ESPN.

Then the Ravens will host the New York Jets for Thursday night football in Baltimore at 8:20 p.m. on Dec. 12, broadcast on Fox.

Ravens kicker Justin Tucker missed a field goal at the start of the fourth quarter, only his second extra point miss in his career. The other was in October 2018, also at home, when he missed a kick while playing the New Orleans Saints.
