Taxi Passenger Killed In Greenspring Hit-And-Run Crash: Police

Police said two people are sought after a gray Honda Accord spun out of control on Greenspring Avenue, killing a taxi passenger.

BALTIMORE, MD — Police said a woman died in a hit-and-run crash on Greenspring Avenue Wednesday morning in northwest Baltimore. She had been riding in a taxi cab that was hit by a Honda Accord, according to investigators.

The driver and passenger from the gray 2011 Honda Accord ran away from the scene after the crash, which happened around 10:30 a.m. in the 3700 block of Greenspring Avenue, police said.

Investigators said the Honda had been going south on Greenspring Avenue when it spun out of control and hit the taxi, which had been headed north.

The taxi driver was taken to an area hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, and the passenger was taken to an area hospital, where police said she died.
