5 Shot, Including 2 Young Children, In SW Baltimore: Police
Police said five people were shot, including children ages 1 and 2, Friday night in southwest Baltimore.
BALTIMORE, MD— Five people, including two young children, were shot Friday night in southwest Baltimore, according to police. Initially, officials reported that three people were shot. While investigators were at the crime scene on Ramsey Street, however, two men walked into area hospitals, bringing the total to five; detectives believe they were also injured during the Ramsey Street incident.
Police said that officers found three victims when they responded to a report of a shooting in the 1900 block of Ramsey Street at 8:21 p.m. on Friday, May 3.
A 1-year-old had been shot in the leg, a 2-year-old was shot in the torso and a woman had been shot in the neck, according to police.

All of the victims were in stable condition at area hospitals, the Baltimore Police Department reported after 10 p.m.
