Vehicles for Change Announces Key Leadership Appointments
Organization congratulates new Chief Financial Officer, welcomes a new Director of Development

Baltimore-based nonprofit, Vehicles for Change, is pleased to announce Mr. Kevin DโAngelo, the organizationโs Controller since December 2019, accepted a new role as Chief Financial Officer. In addition, Ms. Ayanna Dacosta joined Vehicles for Change as Director of Development.
DโAngelo has more than three decades of accounting experience, making him a valued member of Vehicles for Changeโs leadership team. Serving as Controller for the organization since December 2019, DโAngelo is taking over for long-term chief financial officer, Chris Hendrickson, who recently retired from the position. Prior to joining Vehicles for Change, DโAngelo worked for a variety of for-profit and nonprofit organizations in an accounting capacity, most recently serving as Controller for Compass, Inc. In his new role, DโAngelo is responsible for oversight and forecasting of the organizationโs financial health.
DโAngelo earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park in addition to a degree in physical education and health from the Upper Iowa University. He resides in Howard County, Maryland.

Dacosta comes to Vehicles for Change with more than seven years of resource development and nonprofit program experience, cultivated through a series of local and international employment experiences. Most recently, Dacosta served in a contract resource development capacity for Girls With Impact, the only live, online entrepreneurship program in the U.S. made just for girls. In her new VFC role, Dacosta is responsible for the oversight of the nonprofitโs resource development activities including grants management and applications, individual giving, event planning and relationship development with prospective businesses and foundation supporters.
Originally from Jamaica, Dacosta earned her undergraduate degree in political science, with a concentration on human rights, from the University of Connecticut.
