Weather Alert from Baltimore City Public Schools: Saturday Morning Activities Canceled
With icy roads in the forecast, Baltimore City Public Schools modified the schedule for Saturday activities.
BALTIMORE, MD — Due to anticipated icy weather, Baltimore City Public Schools canceled Saturday morning activities on Dec. 17. Activities scheduled to begin after noon will go ahead as planned.
Baltimore City is under a winter weather advisory from midnight to noon Saturday for sleet and freezing rain. Roads and walkways may be icy and slippery.
Temperatures will be below freezing until about 10 a.m., according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties also canceled Saturday morning activities due to inclement weather.
