What's Open, Closed For Columbus Day 2017 In Baltimore
The holiday schedule for Monday, Oct. 9, affects trash pickup and more services; parking meters are in effect.

BALTIMORE, MD - From Baltimore City Department of Public Works: Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., reminds residents that Columbus Day is a City holiday and that DPW offices will be CLOSED Monday, October 9, 2017.
NO TRASH AND RECYCLING COLLECTIONS: Mondays are NOT regular neighborhood trash and recycling collection days in Baltimore City.
DPW YARDS CLOSED: All Citizen Convenience Centers will be CLOSED, including the Quarantine Road Landfill.

MECHANICAL STREET SWEEPING: There will be NO Mechanical Street Sweeping on Columbus Day. Street sweeping parking restrictions will NOT be in effect.
BULK TRASH: There will be NO bulk trash collection scheduled on Columbus Day.

PARKING METERS: Parking meters ARE in effect on Columbus Day.
