2 Minor Crashes In Bel Air Area Reported Sunday Night

The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company was called to a pair of crashes after 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9.

BEL AIR, MD — Firefighters in Bel Air responded to two minor crashes Sunday evening, officials said. They were the latest in a series of collisions over the weekend in the region.

Emergency officials were called to the collision on Henderson at Conowingo roads around 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, according to Rich Gardiner of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.

Afterward, crews responded to another wreck on Churchville Road that Gardiner said was "also minor."

Two crashes on Friday night south of Bel Air were more serious. Four were hospitalized after a collision at the intersection of Philadelphia and Abingdon roads at 7:31 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, and one person was in grave condition following a crash on Primrose Lane at Baneberry Drive about an hour later, the Abingdon Fire Company reported.
