BEL AIR, MD — A few players who purchased winning tickets in Harford County last week have not yet claimed their five-figure prizes, according to the Maryland Lottery.

The three winning tickets were sold at retailers in Forest Hill, Bel Air and Edgewood; lottery officials said the winners had not come forward as of Monday.

The biggest Harford County winner was a Powerball player whose ticket for Wednesday's drawing scored a $50,000 prize. The buyer purchased the ticket from the Forest Hill Exxon at 2019 Rock Spring Rd. on Wednesday, April 21, for that night's drawing.

On Wednesday, a $10,000 winning ticket was purchased at Klein's ShopRite in the Festival at Bel Air at 5 Bel Air South Parkway. Authorities said it was for Bloomin' Bucks, a Fast Play game that involves matching symbols. The Bel Air ticket was the grand prize winner for the game.

Prizes up to and including $25,000 can be claimed at any of Maryland’s six casinos without an appointment. Prizes larger than $25,000 must be redeemed at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only.

Officials said the Forest Hill lottery ticket was among the largest prizes this week in Maryland. A total of seven other $50,000 winning tickets were sold in Baltimore City, District Heights, Gaithersburg, Hanover, Oxon Hill, Silver Spring and Solomons, according to the Maryland Lottery.

Lottery officials said the week's biggest winner was a $1.4 million prize from a Multi-Match ticket sold in Rockville for the drawing Thursday, April 22.
