While cleanup efforts continue, the town is allowing citizens to park in the Hickory parking garage until 7 am. on Friday, Jan. 29, in non-reserved, non-metered spaces. Authorities want to ensure there is ample space for Harford County, Board of Education and local business employees to park.

“For those of you that kept cars off our town roads during the storm, we would like to extend our appreciation for your assistance,” town officials said.

Off the road, town officials also advised citizens and business owners to inspect their roofs, particularly flat or low-angle pitched roofs, to ensure the weight of the snow was not posing a hazard, after a roof collapsed at Safeway in Greenbrier Shopping Center over the weekend.
