Edgewood Stabbing: 23-Year-Old Woman Charged
A Harford County woman is charged with attempted murder and assault in connection with a stabbing in Edgewood, officials say.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — An Edgewood woman has been charged with attempted murder and other offenses in connection with a stabbing over the weekend in Harford County, officials said.
Kyla Briana Denise Royster, 23, of the 3100 block of Ebbtide Drive, is being held without bail at the Harford County Detention Center.
She has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault and second-degree assault.

The charges stemmed from a dispute near a laundry room that escalated Sunday afternoon in Edgewood, according to officials.
Before 12:30 p.m. Sunday, deputies said they were called to a reported stabbing in the 1700 block of Dearwood Court and found a woman stabbed multiple times in the upper body. She was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with serious injuries, and a man who tried to intervene suffered was taken to the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center with minor injuries, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Court records show Royster is slated to have a bail review at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
