The Scarboro Hills Disc Golf Club in association with the Churchville Recreation Council is hosting its Inaugural "Let's Throw Together" Doubles Disc Golf Tournament to Benefit the Arthritis Foundation.
Arthritis and chronic joint symptoms affect 50 million Americans (that’s 1 in 5). Further, 56% of Maryland residents over the age of 65 live with arthritis. Participants may honor a family member, a friend, or anyone living with the daily pain and/or disability of arthritis. Exercise is a great way to help ease the pain of arthritis and disc golf is a fantastic recreational way to exercise.
This event is open to all ages, genders, and skill levels; particularly for people who are new to the sport, people afflicted with arthritis and their families. We are looking for local businesses to partner with us and for citizens to contribute to the cause. People do not need to play to contribute, see our donation page on our website.
