Fall From King And Queen Seat Required Medevac: Officials

Officials said a man fell from King and Queen Seat Sunday in Rocks State Park.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A man was airlifted from King and Queen Seat Sunday evening, officials said. The rescue in Rocks State Park was reported at 6:33 p.m.

The Harford County Technical Rescue Team was called to the 3900 block of Saint Clair Bridge Road, along with the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company and crews from surrounding fire departments, said Jen Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

The area was closed during the response, according to Chenworth, who said a medevac picked up the victim to take him for treatment. The condition of the fall victim was not immediately available.

This was the third emergency call to King and Queen Seat in about six weeks.

A 13-year-old boy was rescued after a fall from the rocky outcropping on June 28, and a man died in a fall there on June 23, according to authorities.
