Fatal Fall From King And Queen Seat Reported
A man died Saturday in Rocks State Park, according to Maryland Natural Resources Police.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A man died at King and Queen Seat in Rocks State Park Saturday, officials said. He fell from the rocky outcropping, according to the Maryland Natural Resources Police.
The victim was a 35-year-old Harford County man, Maryland Natural Resources Police Chief Public Information Officer Candy Thomson told Patch on Sunday. He has not been publicly identified.
The circumstances surrounding the man's death remain under investigation by Maryland Natural Resources Police.

"We went back to the scene today to ensure we retrieved all potential evidence," Thomson said on Sunday. "We also spoke to additional witnesses."
King and Queen Seat is a scenic rocky outcropping about 190 feet above Deer Creek.

The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the area after 6 p.m. on Saturday with a request for a technical rescue.
After 9 p.m., Maryland Natural Resources Police confirmed the man who fell had died.
One person died there in July 2015 in what was believed to be a suicide.
There have also been several people rescued, including a man who fell while rappelling in December 2015.
