Forwood was still Listed on County Website Monday
The former sheriff's major was fired in November.

Mark Forwood was still listed as a "bureau commander" on the Harford County government website Monday even though the former sheriff's major was and to misconduct in office and two separate theft charges two weeks ago.
Forwood was listed as the commander of the Investigative Services Bureau, a post that .
A Harford County government spokesman said that it was a "clerical issue" handled by the Information Technology department.

"IT updates the directory periodically when they’re notified by the appropriate department or agency," spokesman Benjamin Lloyd said. "In this case … [it’s] the sheriff’s office."
The sheriff's office is not under the jurisdiction of Harford County government, but Lloyd said various agencies are listed on the county government site as a resource to citizens.

"I told IT to take Mark Forwood’s name off since he’s no longer employed by the sheriff’s office," Lloyd added.
The listing was removed shortly after Patch spoke with Lloyd.
Forwood, who was but was , spent 23 years with the sheriff's office.
A message left with the sheriff's office for comment was not immediately returned.
