Giant Food Opens Store With Ledo Pizza Corner Shoppe
Giant Food held a grand opening for its new store in the Westbard Square development in Bethesda. The new store has a pharmacy, plus full-service meat and seafood departments, an expanded gourmet cheese selection, prepared food offerings, freshly made sushi and a Starbucks. In the Giant deli section customers will find Ledo Pizza.

Teazzi Tea Shop is planning to open a store in downtown Bethesda. The new store, at 4941 Elm Street, will be the Taiwanese tea chain’s first in the Washington, D.C. region. Construction on the new store, in the Shoppes of Bethesda, will begin in the coming weeks, according to the report.

Buildings Torn Apart By Hand, Historic Circuit Courthouse Reimagined
Four buildings are being demolished by hand along lower Main Street and groundbreakings have been planned for the extended north tunnel and H-4 pond as part of the progress being made under the Ellicott City Safe and Sound plan. The work is being done by hand for the most part in a process called building deconstruction that helps salvage character defining elements previously identified for preservation.
