Harford Christian School Celebrates 50 years
Harford Christian School was founded in 1966 and was a pioneer in Christian education, paving the way for other Christian private schools.
Harford Christian School celebrates its 50th year of excellence in Christian education in Harford County Maryland. Families from 5 different counties as well as southern Pennsylvania have enrolled their children in the school since then. More than 1300 students have crossed the stage to receive their diplomas.
For eight years in a row, the school has won the Harford County Envirothon, competing against both public and private schools. HCS has twice been the Maryland State Champions. Harford Christian offers a broad range of fine arts, athletics, and academic programs including Calculus, Physics, Biology II, and Environmental Science.

Harford Christian School, as a ministry of Reformation Bible Church, exists for the purpose of assisting parents in their responsibility of biblically training the child “in the way he should go.” High quality academics, fine arts, and athletic programs serve as a means to an end in preparing young people to serve Christ and His kingdom. HCS students are encouraged and expected to be disciplined and Christ-honoring in word and deed.
