Harford County Farm Fair: Hours, Prices, Parking

BEL AIR, MD —The 29th annual Harford County Farm Fair is in town, featuring everything from a rodeo, rooster-crowing contest and horse show to an artisan village, spelling bee and pie-baking competition. See the full schedule of events here.

Hours: The Harford County Farm Fair runs from Thursday, July 28, to Sunday, July 31. The hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. "Historically high traffic times are evenings after 5 p.m. and all day Saturday," according to organizers.

Admission: Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 5 to 11 years old. Children under 5 are free. Military members with ID get in for $5. Seniors ages 65 and up get in for $5 on Thursday only.

Carnival Tickets: Each ticket is $1 at the carnival, which runs daily. The number of tickets per ride varies from one to five tickets. People can buy 25 tickets for $20. An all-day ride band for Sunday only is $25.

Parking: The farm fair is located at 608 North Tollgate Road in Bel Air. There are several public parking areas where shuttle buses will pick up fairgoers. Parking is prohibited on the fairgrounds without a permit.

• Handicapped parking (with an official handicap tag): Parks & Recreation lot on Tollgate Road.
• Tollgate Road "Blue Lot" field parking: 703 North Tollgate Road.
• Vale Road field parking: 503 Vale Road.
• Bel Air High School: 100 Heighe Street.
• Red Pump Elementary School: 600 Red Pump Road.

Drop-off ONLY for fairgoers/volunteers will be at the "Red Lot," 704 North Tollgate Road.

Bicyclists: Enter via the Ma & Pa Trail. There is bicycle parking in the Bike Corral; no permits are necessary.
