How Much Rain Did Bel Air Get?

Recent rainfall totals show Bel Air received most precipitation statewide from storm.

The storm that soaked Harford County poured more than 4.5 inches of rain in Bel Air overnight Monday, according to initial reports provided by the National Weather Service.

Bel Air had the highest rainfall total statewide as of Tuesday morning, the report showed.

  • E BEL AIR 4.64 inches at 5:26 a.m.
  • W BEL AIR 3.34 inches at 7: a.m.
  • NNE KINGSVILLE 2.81 inches at 7 a.m.
  • ESE BEL AIR 2.67 inches at 7:52 a.m.
  • E SCARBORO 2.52 inches at 6 a.m.
  • HICKORY 2.49 inches at 7:57 a.m.
  • SE DARLINGTON 2.21 inches at 7:25 a.m.
  • NW FALLSTON 2.09 inches at 7:58 a.m.
  • SW BYNUM 2.03 inches at 8 a.m.
  • FALLSTON 1.74 inches at 7:52 a.m.
  • JARRETTSVILLE 1.26 inches at 7:59 a.m.
  • WSW NORRISVILLE 1.07 inches at 7 a.m.
  • PYLESVILLE 1.06 inches at 7:56 a.m.
  • JOPPATOWNE 1.06 inches at 7:57 a.m.
  • NORRISVILLE 1.06 inches at 7:58 a.m.

The only area based Bel Air that got more than 4 inches of rain was Severn, where 4.05 inches were reported.

There was a record amount of rain in Baltimore City on Monday, according to the National Weather Service. Approximately 2.5 inches were recorded, shattering the previous record of 2.14 inches from June 1, 1979.
