The first significant snowfall of 2015 occurred Tuesday, when Bel Air was under a winter weather advisory.
Here’s how much the National Weather Service unofficially reports came down:
- 3 inches in northeast Bel Air; observation taken at 3:30 p.m.
- 2.5 inches in Bel Air; observation taken at 3 p.m.
- 2 inches in north Bel Air; observation taken at 11:30 a.m.
The most snow in Maryland reportedly fell in Frostburg, which received 5 inches, according to the weather service.
