Jury Selection Begins In Edgewood Mass Shooting Trial
Three years after the shootings at Advanced Granite Solutions in Edgewood, Radee Prince will stand trial for murder and other charges.

BEL AIR, MD — The man who is accused of killing three and injuring two others at his workplace in Edgewood will stand trial nearly three years after the shooting. On Tuesday jury selection began for the case of Radee Prince, 40.
Usually jury selection in Harford County takes place at the Circuit Courthouse in Bel Air.
However, due to social distancing requirements because of the coronavirus, it was reportedly moved to a new venue: the Havre de Grace Community Center.

About 40 people showed up Tuesday for jury selection, according to WBAL, which reported the process is expected to run through Friday before the trial begins Monday, Oct. 19.
Prospective jurors had their temperatures checked and were seated 6 feet apart before answering questions such as whether they had heard of the case — all of them had — and whether they were concerned about the coronavirus, which only a few indicated, The Aegis reported.

Prince has pleaded not criminally responsible, according to the newspaper, which said the trial is expected to start Monday at the ceremonial courtroom in Bel Air, which is large enough to allow for social distancing.
A Harford County grand jury indicted Prince in January 2018 on these charges:
- First-degree murder (three counts)
- Attempted first-degree murder (two counts)
- Two weapons offenses (using a firearm in a felony, illegal use of a regulated firearm)
The charges stem from the shooting at Advanced Granite Solutions in Emmorton Business Park that occurred Oct. 18, 2017.
Officials said three died and two were critically injured when Prince opened fire at the countertop business where he worked before 9 a.m. that day.
Those killed were identified as Bayarsaikhan Tudev, 53, of Arlington, Virginia; Jose "Oscar" Hidalgo Romero, 34, of Aberdeen; and Enis Mrvoljak, 48, of Dundalk. Two victims who shot and survived were identified as Enoc Villegas Sosa of North East and Jose Roberto Flores Gillen of Edgewood.
Prince was apprehended in Delaware following a manhunt that lasted hours; he was taken into custody by federal agents and local officers at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 18, 2017, after shooting and injuring a sixth person in Wilmington, Delaware.
He was tried in Delaware first, despite facing three murder charges in Maryland, because there was a possibility he could have been sentenced there to life without parole.
A Delaware jury found Prince found guilty of attempted manslaughter in May 2018, and he was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
Harford County prosecutors have indicated they are seeking life without parole in the case.
