Masked Man Robs 7-Eleven in Edgewood: Sheriff

There is a reward of up to $2,000 for information about a recent armed robbery in Harford County.

EDGEWOOD, MD – A masked man allegedly robbed 7-Eleven on Gateway Road at gunpoint this week, and authorities are asking for help identifying him.

The suspect, described as 5'8" to 6' tall, walked into the store in the 1000 block of Gateway Road in Edgewood, showed a gun and demanded money, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported.

After the robbery, which occurred at approximately 3:48 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, the man left with cash and cigarettes, heading toward Crimson Tree Court, officials said. Nobody was injured.

Despite a canvass of the area, authorities did not find the suspect.

The same 7-Eleven was robbed by a masked man in April. In that case, within 24 hours of the sheriff's office releasing surveillance footage of the incident, an Edgewood man was charged.

A cash reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information regarding the May 28 robbery.

To be eligible, tipsters must use one of the following methods: send a tip online through Harford County Sheriff’s Office; text the tip to Metro Crime Stoppers at 274637 with “MCS” plus the message; or call Harford Crime Solvers at 1-888-540-8477. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
