Norrisville Road Blaze Was Intentional: Fire Marshal
Investigators are working to determine who set fire to the house that went up in flames Sunday morning in north Harford.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The two-alarm fire that engulfed a home on Norrisville Road Sunday morning is believed to have been intentionally set, according to the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
Approximately 50 firefighters responded to the blaze, which a passerby discovered at 3:18 a.m. on Sunday, the fire marshal reported.
The house in the 5300 block of Norrisville Road was vacant, and the fire began inside the residence, according to officials.

The fire marshal said the cause was incendiary, meaning someone intentionally set fire to the home.
There was approximately $70,000 in damage, officials reported. Nobody was injured.
