Police Seek Witnesses In Deadly Conowingo Road Crash
Troopers from the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack have made a request as they investigate a fatal crash in Harford County.

DARLINGTON, MD — Investigators have asked witnesses to come forward as they continue to probe the weekend crash in Harford County that left a Street woman dead. Two other drivers were taken to area hospitals from the three-vehicle collision on Route 1, according to authorities.
Emily McDowell, 25, of Street, crossed the center line on Conowingo Road/US 1, where she had been headed north in a 2008 Mazda 3 sedan around 9 p.m. Saturday, officials said.
It still remains unclear why she crossed into oncoming traffic, investigators reported Monday.

McDowell was the only person in her car when her Mazda crashed head-on into a Chevy Tahoe and then a Ford Explorer, police said.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to the 4700 block of Conowingo Road, north of Castleton Road, where officials said they pronounced McDowell deceased at the scene.
The driver of the 2007 Ford Explorer — a 50-year-old Rising Sun man — was taken to Christiana Hospital, police said.
The driver of the Tahoe — a 22-year-old Jarrettsville man — was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, according to authorities.
