Roundabout On Water Tower Way Opens In Forest Hill

FOREST HILL, MD - A new roundabout has opened on Water Tower Way in Forest Hill. County officials announced the completion of the roundabout this week on Water Tower Way at Granary Road.

Construction began in mid August and was projected to last four to six weeks.

Water Tower Way reopened from US 1 to East-West Highway and Granary Road from Robin Circle to Conowingo Road as of Sept. 15, according to a statement from Harford County.

Roundabouts reduce crashes that result in injury or death by approximately 80 percent, according to the Federal Highway Administration, which reports that one quarter of traffic fatalities in the U.S. involve intersections.
