Drug Dealers, Turn In Your Competitors: Texas Police
"This is completely legit and in no way a farce," the department wrote on its drug dealer questionnaire.

ROWLETT, TX — Drug dealers, turn in your competitors. That's the message one North Texas police department has for certain citizens in its town.
Rowlett police shared the message on its Twitter page Friday, along with a form allowing dealers to file a special type of police report.
"Do you have a competitor who is stealing your clients? Would your bankroll be that much fatter if they weren't around? You're in luck! Answer the following questions and return the form to us at your convenience, and we will assist in their apprehension."

The form, which cites an effort to "improve community relations," asks for identifying information.
Some questions on the form include, "My competitor's name is," and "My competitor's store hours are."

The department even offers an opportunity to call in and ask for help while completing the form.
"This service will be completed 100% free of charge (you're welcome.) As always, you may call us... if you have any questions in completing this form."
In fine print, a quippy note guarantees authenticity.
"This is completely legit and in no way a farce. Farce means fake... this is not fake."
