Snowfall Totals For Bel Air, Harford County From December 11

Initial reports are in as far as how much snow fell Wednesday morning, delaying school in Harford County.

BEL AIR, MD — How much snow fell in Bel Air Wednesday morning? Less than an inch of snow accumulated, based on preliminary reports submitted to the National Weather Service.

Because the forecast called for inclement weather during the morning commute, Harford County Public Schools delayed opening by two hours Wednesday. So did Cecil County Public Schools.

Fallston saw an inch of snow Wednesday, the highest accumulation reported in the state. Caroline County (Greensboro), Frederick County (Bloomfield) and Montgomery County (Damascus) also saw reports of an inch.

Here are the unofficial snow totals in Harford County from Wednesday, Dec. 11, according to the National Weather Service:

  • 1 inch — Fallston, reported at 5:45 a.m.
  • 0.8 inch — Bel Air, reported at 6 a.m.
  • 0.5 inch — Kingsville, reported at 7 a.m.
  • 0.2 inch — Whiteford, reported at 10:31 a.m.
  • 0.2 inch — Norrisville, reported at 7 a.m.
  • Trace — Abingdon, reported at 6:25 a.m.
