Testing At Aberdeen Proving Ground: Weapon Firing Possible

Nighttime firing is possible around Aberdeen, officials say.

ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, MD — Unusual sights and sounds may be coming this week from Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG). The military installation is planning testing events starting Tuesday, Sept. 15, that may be heard outside the campus in Harford County.

Nighttime firing is planned from Sept. 14 to Oct. 20, according to a statement from APG.

To minimize impacts, APG officials say they will be monitoring the noise and weather.
