Trailer Fire Leaves Smoke Plume in Joppa: Officials
The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company handled fire that could be seen from a distance.

After a pull-behind trailer broke out in flames Wednesday evening off US Route 40, the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company swooped in to put the fire out.
At approximately 7:37 p.m., the fire company was dispatched to the 1100 block of Oak Avenue for a commercial vehicle fire.

When crews arrived, they found a 10-foot, pull-behind trailer was ablaze, with smoke that could be seen for miles, according to the fire company.
