'Troopers Have Charged No One' in Fatal Fallston Crash: Police
Maryland State Police reports the investigation is ongoing into March 5 hit and run.

It’s been approximately three weeks since Christian Widosmki was hit by a Jeep Cherokee as he walked along Harford Road in Fallston with his neighbor’s snow blower.
The 44-year-old father of two was killed, and officials said the driver left the scene of the March 5 crash.
On St. Patrick’s Day, police reported the Jeep had been found, and the investigation is ongoing, according to Greg Shipley, spokesman for Maryland State Police.

“Troopers have charged no one with the hit and run,” Shipley said March 24. “Their investigation is continuing. They are awaiting results from a number of forensic tests. They continue to interview individuals and are working to collect additional evidence.”

“We are grateful for those concerned citizens who provided information,” Shipley told Patch. “Due to the ongoing investigation, we cannot say at this time what directly contributed to the identification of the vehicle involved.”
He described citizen assistance as “vital to police investigative efforts“ and said such tips “do provide help in a majority of cases.”
